Muscat: Oman Air has announced a considerable expansion in capacity for the next Khareef Dhofar, indicating the airline's commitment to promoting local tourism. Starting July 1, 2025, the airline will operate up to 12 flights per day between Muscat and Salalah, giving consumers more flexibility and convenience to explore the distinct natural splendor of Southern Oman during this particular time of year.
To meet growing demand, Oman Air has also added 70,000 additional seats on the Muscat-Salalah route through the end of the year, representing a 16% increase over the same time in 2024.
As part of its dedication to accessible and inexpensive local travel, Oman Air's fixed national fare will continue to be offered across the expanded schedule, with Omani citizens receiving return fares at a fixed OMR 54 between July 1st and September 5th. There is no restriction on the number of national tickets assigned; nevertheless, passengers are encouraged to book early to secure their preferred travel dates.
