MUSCAT: Oman Air and Turkish Airlines have enthusiastically announced a strategic Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP) cooperation to improve the travel experience for their loyalty members worldwide. This collaboration will provide members of both programmes with additional mileage earning chances across a larger worldwide network.
As of August 1, 2025, Turkish Airlines will connect members of Miles&Smiles, its 21+ million member loyalty programme, to Muscat, Salalah, and Khasab in Oman, as well as throughout the Oman Air network. Furthermore, members of Oman Air's loyalty programme, Sindbad, will have access to Turkish Airlines' extensive global network, opening up new earning options throughout Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Americas.
This new loyalty agreement, which is part of our ongoing collaboration, is a significant step toward increasing the value of our Sindbad program and broadening Oman Air's global reach,” says Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Oman Air. "We look forward to providing our guests with even more rewarding travel experiences all across the world.
This arrangement will make Miles&Smiles even more accessible, according to Ahmet Olmuştur, Turkish Airlines' Chief Commercial Officer. This agreement opens opportunities for our leisure and business visitors, simplifying their worldwide trips and ensuring that each one is a memorable experience.
This new cooperation exemplifies the airlines' mutual dedication to delivering great travel experiences for their customers. In addition to improving its loyalty options, Oman Air is expanding its global presence by adding new destinations such as Rome and Amsterdam, boosting frequency on important routes like London and Moscow, and strengthening codeshare agreements with key international airlines.
