Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has revealed the tender for the design and execution of the dual carriageway road project linking Sohar in the North Al Batinah Governorate.
The project will extend from the Al Wahat Mall roundabout to the bridge that connects to the Al Batinah Expressway, covering a distance of approximately 9 kilometers, with a projected implementation period of up to 18 months.
This initiative includes the construction of several roundabouts and box culverts to facilitate smooth traffic flow during rainy conditions, as well as the installation of light poles. These improvements will enhance the road's efficiency, increase traffic safety, and cater to the needs of its users.
