Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), through the Muscat Governorate Police Command and the North Al Batinah Police Command, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, have apprehended four masked individuals of Asian descent on charges of armed robbery.
As reported by the ROP, the suspects invaded a gold shop in the Wilayat of Seeb, where they threatened and assaulted the staff before making off with gold jewellery and cash exceeding OMR 150,000.
The police have confirmed that all stolen items have been recovered, and legal actions are currently being pursued against the suspects.
