Doha: On the occasion of the 21st session of the GCC Joint Defence Council, which took place in Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman participated on Tuesday.
The delegation from Oman was led by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs.
The discussions during the session covered a wide range of topics, which were proposed by the Supreme Military Committee of GCC Chiefs of Staff and were part of the agenda for the 21st session. Additionally, the meeting underscored several accomplishments and positive developments in the realm of joint military operations.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed various military issues of mutual interest, aiming to further enhance military cooperation.
Throughout the proceedings, HH Sayyid Shihab was supported by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, along with several senior officers of the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces.
