Police Foil Theft Attempt, Arrest Labour Law Violators In Separate Incidents

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police detained individuals involved in theft and labour law violations in two separate cases.

The Muscat Governorate Police Command, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Airport Security, intercepted three Sri Lankan nationals, including a domestic worker, at Muscat International Airport as they attempted to flee the country after stealing gold jewelry from their employer's house in Muttrah. Legal processes have already begun.

Meanwhile, in the Wilayat of Sur, the South Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command detained 18 Asian women for breaking the Labor Law and the Foreigners' Residence Law. Legal action has commenced.
