Amid the joyful and celebratory ambiance for families and children at Khareef Dhofar—which continues to draw a growing number of visitors from inside Oman and abroad—Yahya Khalfan Al Touqi from Adam in Al Dakhiliyah The Governorate emphasized the wide range of activities available, including interactive theatrical productions that present educational scenes in a simple and interesting method for children.
On his turn, Mu'aid Awad Al Yafa'i from Salalah emphasized the daily activities that are continually provided to youngsters in various locations, stating that educational plays teach crucial moral principles in an enjoyable manner. He also noted the wide range of aerial and electronic games that cater to a variety of tastes and interests.
Meanwhile, Ali Sulaiman, one of the parents visiting Ateen Square with his family from Al Mudhaibi in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, stated that these dedicated children's events provide an excellent recreational outlet for families and a safe and fun environment for youngsters to enjoy themselves.
He agreed that the variety of activities—including fireworks displays, drone shows, and performances by organizations such as the Latin Band and Cru Show—stimulate children's creativity and enrich their visual experiences, with plans customized to suit all tastes and interests.
Abdulnasser Yaqoub Al Na'ar, a Bahraini citizen, praised the superb organization and the thoughtful choice of child-centered activities. He emphasized that dedicated children's pavilions in many places across Dhofar enabled his family to move about freely and easily.
He said that the heritage performances, which connect youngsters to their cultural origins in a basic and joyful manner, demonstrate a strong awareness of children's developmental and creative needs. He emphasised that Dhofar has evolved into a full tourist resort that mixes natural beauty with meaningful family activities.
Meanwhile, Said Musallam Habbis, owner of the Ateen Slide project, said that this initiative—the first of its type in Oman—is being implemented for the first time in Dhofar, capitalizing on Ateen Plain's natural environment to provide a pleasant and safe recreational experience for tourists throughout the Khareef season.
He praised Dhofar Municipality's support for youth projects, which helped turn the concept into reality, and stated that the project improves the diversity and sustainability of tourist and recreational activities in the governorate.
