Muscat: The Oman Film Society, in collaboration with the North Al Batinah Governor's Office, has announced the commencement of submissions for the official competition of the 3rd Al Batinah International Film Festival, which will take place from October 27 to 30, 2025.
Participation is permitted until September 20 using the festival's official internet forms.
The Al Batinah International Film Festival, held every two years, acts as a cultural and artistic platform for marketing Oman and its governorates locally and internationally, spreading cinematic culture in society, encouraging creative engagement among youth, and improving the quality of Omani film production.
This edition is organized by the Oman Film Society in collaboration with a number of public and private sector organisations to help promote Oman's film presence at regional and global levels.
Oman Film Society welcomes submissions from all interested filmmakers, production firms, and cinema fans in the festival's official competition categories.
