Depression In Indian Subcontinent Will Not Impact Oman Weather : Meteorology

Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Department has issued a statement regarding the formation of a depression, anticipated to be centered northwest of the Indian subcontinent. It is projected that this depression will not exert any influence on the Sultanate of Oman over the forthcoming four days.

The department's experts are diligently monitoring the situation and will issue updates as necessary.

In a statement, Oman Meteorology noted, "A depression is currently located northwest of the Indian subcontinent, with projections indicating its movement towards the northeast of the Arabian Sea, potentially on either Friday or Saturday (August 30 or 31, 2024). It is anticipated that this weather system will not impact the Sultanate of Oman during the next four days. The specialists at the National Multiple Hazards Early Warning Centre are closely observing the expected weather conditions and their progression."
