Kathmandu: Today, President Ram Chandra Poudel of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal graciously hosted Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi at the Presidential Palace in Kathmandu.
During the visit, the Minister extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt sentiments to the President, alongside His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Nepalese populace. He also expressed His Majesty's desires for enhanced development and advancement in the bilateral relations between the two nations.
In response, President Ram Chandra requested that the Minister relay His Majesty's sincere greetings and wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and Omani people. He expressed his hopes for the strengthening and flourishing of the friendly relations between the two nations.
The discussion focused on the mutual eagerness of the two countries to foster ties across various sectors, aiming to achieve benefits for both nations and their citizens. Additionally, it addressed regional and international developments and issues.
The meeting was attended by Issa Saleh Al Shaibani, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, and other officials from both delegations.
