Muscat: The National Identity Project, currently under development across various regions of the Sultanate of Oman, is poised to attract increased investments to the nation.
During a joint community consultations program in Nizwa, Mohannad Jumaa Al Futaisi, the Project Manager of the Nazdaher Program within the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, presented the four primary strategic objectives of the National Identity Project.
"These objectives encompass the expansion of foreign direct investments (FDIs), the facilitation of Omani goods' access to markets, the development of services tailored for Omani consumers, and the enhancement of economic capabilities and talents," he elaborated.
Representatives from the National Programme for Investment and Export Development 'Nazdaher', specifically from the Governorates of Al Dakhiliyah and Al Dhahirah, convened a joint community consultations in Nizwa on Tuesday.
This consultation session, marking the second of its kind, focused on the unified promotional 'National Identity' project being developed across various regions of the Sultanate of Oman. Salma Ali Al Hashmi, the Head of the Technical Team for the National Identity Project, stated, "These consultation sessions are designed to foster communication and encourage the active participation of diverse segments of society in discussions with those responsible for the project's implementation."
Ismail Hamad Al Mahrouqi, the Communication Manager for the Nazdaher Programme, presented four visual options for the National Identity Project: dialogue, partnership, relations, and unity.
The National Programme for Investment & Export Development was established with the aim of propelling Oman into a new era of inward investment and domestic development.
