Today, the Shura Council welcomed representatives from Nama Water Services Company to discuss ways to improve the services provided by Nama, the company's approach to renewing contracts for water transport tank owners, and the challenges in establishing water supply networks in certain neighborhoods across Oman's governorates.
During the meeting, Qais Saud Al Zakwani, the CEO of Nama Water Services Company, delivered a detailed presentation on water transportation services, pricing structures, billing processes, and the company's future initiatives to expand water networks to households and introduce a prepaid meter program.
Al Zakwani highlighted the company's upcoming plans to transition from mechanical meters to smart meters and enhance electronic services available through the Nama application, which currently stands at 33 services. These services include prepaid system usage, interactive Whatsapp support, online appointment scheduling, notifications, and complaint submissions.
