Tunis: On Wednesday, Tunisian President Kais Saied welcomed Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, at the Presidential Palace in the capital city of Tunisia.
The meeting is part of the Foreign Minister's official visit to the Republic of Tunisia.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr presented His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik's greetings to the Tunisian President, along with his sincere wishes for good health and happiness. He also expressed His Majesty's hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the Tunisian people.
The Tunisian President has asked the Foreign Minister to convey his warm feelings and sincere wishes for good health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan. The Tunisian President also wished for continued growth and prosperity for the Omani people.
The meeting highlighted the two countries' bilateral relations and the necessity of strengthening them in all fields to benefit their mutual interests.
President Kais Saied of the Republic of Tunisia thanked the Sultanate of Oman for its role, under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, in strengthening regional and international security and peace. He also praised Oman's approach, which is based on wisdom and the ideals of dialogue and cooperation among nations and peoples.
During his turn, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, emphasized the Sultanate of Oman's pride in its close fraternal ties with the Republic of Tunisia. He stressed the country's desire to enhance bilateral cooperation and continue consultation and coordination on issues of mutual interest.
Sayyid Badr also commended the Tunisian President's leadership and clear vision for the region, the future of joint Arab action, and Tunisia's economic and social development.
