It is crucial to showcase these strengths to the world and raise global awareness."

The senior ministry representative expressed hope that Oman's participation in ITF would attract investments in the growing transport sector. He acknowledged that while the transformation journey is on the right track, challenges are inevitable. The key lies in effectively mitigating these challenges.

With Oman and Saudi Arabia joining ITF, the MENA region now boasts six members, with three from the GCC region. Other nations such as the UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, and Israel are also part of this organization. Europe leads with the highest number of member nations, totaling 44.

The ITF is pleased to welcome Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the Dominican Republic as new members. We are excited to have a seventh nation from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as our second and third members from the Gulf region.

Oman's Vision 2040 relies on the development of advanced transportation, communications, and information technology infrastructure that is safe and integrated with urban and economic growth. The Transport Ministry of Oman has already started plans for zero-emission light and heavy-duty vehicles. ITF's member countries are ready to support Oman in any way possible, drawing inspiration from the experiences of other nations to enhance its transport systems.
