New Delhi: The Sultanate of Oman has participated in the 46th session of the World Heritage Committee meetings, which took place in New Delhi, India.
These meetings, scheduled to last until July 31, are being organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The delegation representing Oman at the 46th session, led by Dr. Hamad Saif Al Hamami, the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO, will address a variety of subjects. These include the current status of properties on the World Heritage List, and the decision-making process regarding the inclusion or removal of properties from the World Heritage in Danger List, among others.
