Oman Participates In Beijing International Book Fair 2025

Muscat: Oman will participate in the Beijing International Book Fair 2025, which runs until June 22 in the Chinese capital, Beijing, through the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth and the Ministry of Information.

Oman's participation seeks to transform its pavilion into a literary and intellectual hub, providing visitors with insights into the country's past, present, and future.

The pavilion has a broad and vast collection of books in literary, artistic, intellectual, and scientific subjects, with a particular emphasis on works in English and Chinese.

Furthermore, visual presentations showcase Oman’s cultural, historical, and civilization milestones in conjunction with digital and visual publications on the “Ayn” platform.

The involvement also aims to enhance cultural and media ties between Oman and China, encouraging intellectual and literary exchanges. It seeks to encourage cultural cooperation in authorship, publishing, and book production while exposing Omani authors to audiences in Arab, Islamic, and worldwide markets.

The pavilion also promotes the Muscat International Book Fair and invites new publishing firms to take part, demonstrating Oman's dedication to active engagement and positive impact in the global cultural arena.

Oman's participation in the exhibition highlights the value of cultural and intellectual exchanges as a cornerstone of the country's cultural strategy and a critical component of Oman Vision 2040.
