Oman Participates In 5th Japan-Arab Economic Forum In Tokyo

Oman's participation in the fifth Japan-Arab Economic Forum, held in Japan, was led by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Busaidi, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan.

During his address at the event, Al Busaidi highlighted the strong economic ties and cooperation between Oman and Japan, particularly in the fields of education, culture, and tourism.

He emphasized the collaboration between the two nations in economic sectors, with a focus on green hydrogen and energy.

Discussions at the forum encompassed various topics of interest to Japan and Arab countries, such as sustainable economic development, mutual investment, economic diversification, innovation, climate change, green products, clean water conservation, waste recycling, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon storage, sequestration, telecommunications technologies, artificial intelligence, and resilient supply chains.

Notable attendees at the forum included Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko, and Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Saito Ken.
