Muscat: Oman Customs has effectively prevented an attempt by two expatriates to smuggle prohibited amounts of cigarettes and eshisha into the Sultanate of Oman.
Oman Customs reported that Hafeet Customs intercepted an attempt by two Indian nationals to smuggle prohibited quantities of cigarettes and eshisha, as well as more than 600 packs of tobacco derivatives, which were skillfully concealed in the compartments of their vehicle. Legal action is being taken against them.
