The Sultanate's delegation, led by the Ministry of Interior, presented four working papers on critical topics, including food safety, sustainable urban planning, waste management and energy conservation, and building permit procedures and completion certificates.
Dr Mohammed bin Said Al Balushi, the Director of the Food and Laboratories Department at Muscat Municipality, expressed his satisfaction with the positive outcomes and reflected on the results of the First Gulf Municipal Week in Salalah. He highlighted the valuable discussions and in-depth debates that took place among participants, which played a significant role in improving municipal work and adopting better practices in the field of food safety. This allowed them to stay updated on global environmental risks.
