More Than OMR600,000 Collected To Help Palestinian Brothers In Gaza

Dar Al Atta’a Association raised over OMR600,000 through the 'For Palestine_4' campaign to provide support to the people in Gaza.

Commencing on October 15, the campaign was initiated as part of the 'Disaster Relief Programme' aimed at offering assistance to individuals impacted by crises like wars and natural calamities, both locally and globally.

In collaboration with the Oman Charitable Organisation, the campaign involved gathering monetary contributions through various channels provided by Dar Al Atta’a, including text messages via Omantel Communications and Ooredoo, as well as through the association’s bank accounts and platforms like Thawani, Talabat, and Tam Den.

Moreover, partnerships were established with around 30 SMEs who pledged a portion of their sales revenue to Palestine throughout the charitable campaign period.

Dar Al Atta’a also organized supportive initiatives, such as an open day event in partnership with the Omani Automobile Association, featuring Omani biker teams overseen by Harley Davidson owners, enabling citizens to extend their assistance to their Palestinian brethren.

The total sum raised for the 'For Palestine campaign' amounted to OMR600,599,620.

This fund was handed over to Mr. Muhammad Al Dhaili, Chairman of the Omani Charitable Organization, by Mrs. Maryam bint Issa Al Zadjali, the founder and president of Dar Al Atta’a Association.

Mrs. Maryam bint Issa Al-Zadjali emphasized the urgent need for support in light of the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. She highlighted the overwhelming backing received from various sectors of Omani society, underscoring the crucial role they play in achieving the campaign's objectives.

Through collaboration with the Omani Charitable Organisation, Dar Al Atta’a has spearheaded multiple initiatives, with the recent campaign marking the fourth in support of Palestine. Previous joint efforts have led to the establishment of a blood laboratory in Nabis, as well as the provision of essential medical equipment in Jerusalem and Gaza.

Dar Al Atta’a Association expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Social Development, Oman Charitable Organisation, and all individuals who contributed to the cause. The association fervently prays for divine intervention in aiding our Palestinian brethren towards a definitive triumph.
