Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has urged for caution in order to protect the region and its inhabitants from the perils of warfare.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the Sultanate of Oman has affirmed its keen interest in monitoring the escalating military developments in the region and the grave consequences they entail. It has emphasized the importance of exercising self-restraint to safeguard the region and its people from the hazards of war.
Furthermore, the Sultanate of Oman is reiterating its stance, calling for adherence to international laws and emphasizing the United Nations Security Council's responsibility in upholding global peace and security.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, it once again emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, as well as the unimpeded access of humanitarian and relief aid to all areas of the Strip.
