Barka: The Wilayat of Barka in the South Al Batinah Governorate will soon unveil a new worker accommodation called "Al Maskan Village" by mid-2024.
This groundbreaking project will be the first of its kind, offering sustainable solutions for investors within the economic zone.
Impressively, over 90 percent of the residential complex has already been completed within just 22 months since the agreement to develop and operate the village was signed. Spanning an area of more than 55,000 square meters, the project has an investment value of OMR25 million.
Eng. Salim Suleiman Al Dhuhli, the CEO of Khazaen Economic City, emphasized that the worker village is an integral part of their efforts to create a fully equipped economic environment that prioritizes health, safety, and sustainability.
Furthermore, Al Maskan Village will provide essential social structures that promote a comfortable and fulfilling lifestyle within the concept of sustainable cities in the economic zone.
Al Dhuhli highlighted that the residential complexes within the workers' village have been meticulously designed to offer high-quality living spaces and ensure the well-being of employees and workers. In addition to the 25,000 square meters of construction area, the facility will also feature an integrated service complex spanning 35,000 square meters.
