Ankara: This evening, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey engaged in a ceremonial exchange of honors at the Presidential Complex, coinciding with His Majesty's official visit to Turkey.
During the event, His Majesty the Sultan presented the "Al Said Order," the highest honor in Oman, to President Erdogan as a recognition of the Turkish leader's contributions and as a symbol of the enduring friendship between the two nations and their peoples.
In return, President Erdogan bestowed upon His Majesty the Sultan the “Order of the State,” Turkey’s most prestigious award, as a gesture of appreciation and recognition of the strong ties that exist between the two countries.
