Council Of Ministers, State Council Office Discuss Integration Among State Institutions

Muscat: On Tuesday, HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, along with several members of the Council of Ministers, received Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, and members of the State Council’s Office.

The purpose of the meeting was to enhance coordination between the Council of Ministers and the Council of Oman.

Both parties held an extensive meeting at the Council of Ministers building, with the presence of ministers.

This meeting, in accordance with the Basic Law of the State and the Law of the Council of Oman, aimed to strengthen the continuous coordination among all state institutions in order to develop a shared vision for Oman's comprehensive development.

At the beginning of the meeting, HH Sayyid Fahd praised the State Council for its role in implementing the State's general policies and providing excellent services to citizens.

He emphasized the government's appreciation for all suggestions and proposals aimed at improving public services and enhancing facilities.

During the meeting, it was agreed that concerted efforts should be made to protect national achievements and enable the State Council to continue conducting studies and proposing initiatives that advance the national agenda.

The Chairman and members of the State Council expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and highlighted the significance of the topics and opinions exchanged between the two sides.

During the upcoming phase of collaborative efforts, it was confirmed that numerous shared objectives and strategies would be achieved. 

The gathering deliberated on various subjects, such as methods to strengthen the integration between governmental institutions through the execution of plans and programs.

Both parties highlighted the importance of advancing the role of the ministerial coordination committee, which acts as a bridge between the Council of Ministers and the State Council, in order to fulfill the public's aspirations.

They also discussed ways to increase awareness and protect the achievements that have been accomplished thus far in Oman under the guidance of wise leadership.
