Arab Forum For Tourism Explores Means Of Boosting Investment In GCC States

Al Buraimi: The inaugural Arab Forum for Tourism and Investment aims to enhance tourism investments across Arab nations while emphasizing the economic and tourism potential within the Sultanate of Oman.

This two-day event is organized by the Governorate of Al Buraimi in collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Al Buraimi branch.

The opening ceremony took place under the patronage of Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, the Minister of Information.

In his address, Sayyid Dr. Hamad Ahmed Al Busaidi, the Governor of Al Buraimi, highlighted that the forum presents a valuable opportunity to strengthen Arab collaboration in tourism and investment sectors. He noted that the Governorate of Al Buraimi possesses significant economic and tourism assets, establishing it as a strategic link between Oman and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

On the first day of the forum, two discussion panels were conducted. The first focused on strategies for developing and managing tourism destinations, while the second examined the impact of regional integration on achieving tourism collaboration.
