Muscat: The seventh edition of the "Discover Oman Ironman 70.3 Muscat" competition has officially begun in Muscat. Organized by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in partnership with Middle East Global Events, this three-day event is being held at Qurum Beach and has drawn 1,100 athletes from 81 different countries.
Competitors will tackle a demanding course that includes a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycling segment, and a 21.1 km run along the scenic coastline of Qurum Beach in the Muscat Governorate.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is committed to promoting Oman as a premier destination for international sporting events. The country's stunning landscapes, favorable climate, and diverse facilities position it as an appealing location for a variety of athletic competitions, attracting both novice and seasoned athletes from around the world.
