Muscat: Today, the Sultan Qaboos Military College at the Royal Army of Oman Academy carried out a field exercise as part of the final training event, "Shield 30," for its officer cadets.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of Major General Musallam Mohammed Jaaboub, the Commander of the Sultan's Special Force. Major General Mattar Salim Al Balushi, the Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, along with several other senior officers from the Sultan's Armed Forces and various military and security units, were also present. The event took place at the Royal Army of Oman training grounds located in Dhofar Governorate.
The event's patron and attendees received a briefing on the different phases and training goals of the exercise. Following this, they observed the field exercise, which was executed with live ammunition in accordance with the established scenario.
