Muscat: Today, Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, the Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), was graced with the presence of General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The formal assembly occurred at the office of the SAF Chief of Staff located within the Al Murtafa'a Garrison.
Following his arrival at Al Murtafa'a Garrison, an official reception ceremony was conducted in his honor. This was marked by the Guard of Honour performing military salutes, accompanied by the sound of military music, in a display of respect. Subsequently, the guest was given the opportunity to inspect the Guard of Honour.
Vice Admiral Abdullah extended his warm welcome to the visiting dignitary. Throughout the duration of the meeting, discussions were held on various matters of mutual interest.
The assembly was also attended by Brigadier Badr Nassir Al Kharousi, the Director General of the Joint Military Intelligence and Preventive Security at COSAF, and the Military Attaché of the Pakistani Embassy in Muscat.
