Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has apprehended an individual attempting to transport over 250 bundles of khat in his vehicle within the Dhofar Governorate.
In a formal statement, the ROP reported: "The Dhofar Governorate Police Command, in collaboration with the Special Tasks Police Unit in Salalah, has successfully intercepted a suspect engaged in the smuggling of more than 250 bundles of khat within his vehicle. Legal proceedings are currently underway against the individual."
