Muscat: In a historic tribute to kindness and dedication to inclusive education, Pakistan School Muscat hosted its first graduation ceremony for pupils of its Centre of Special Education. Ameer Hamza, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pakistan Schools Oman, conceptualized and realized the project as a special tribute to students of determination and their families. The event was attended by notable guests and dignitarie. The Chief Guest, His Excellency Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, Pakistan's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, together with His Excellency's Spouse, Ms. Amna Bokhari, and embassy officials, attended the event. Their presence emphasized Pakistan's national commitment to educational equality and inclusion.
Among the special guests was Rear Admiral Khondkar Misbah Ul Azim, Bangladesh's Ambassador to Oman. His presence elegantly captured the wonderful, brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Also in attendance were Dr. Mahmood Al Alawi, Assistant Director General of Private Schools and Chief Guest, and Dr. Abdullah Al Mamri, Representative of the Foreign Schools Department at the Ministry of Education, both of whom are strong supporters of inclusive learning in Oman.
The event also featured Ms. Daniela Frenzel, a business psychologist, and Ms. Arooj, a Ministry of Culture and Sports representative, as well as esteemed representatives from the Indonesian Embassy, Ms. Lenny Ardina Dewantri and Ms. Ira Rachmawati, whose presence brought international warmth and support to the celebration.
The event began with a heartfelt welcome address by Anaba Sohail, a Centre of Special Education student, who skillfully spoke to the audience, exemplifying the essence of empowerment and bravery for which the center was created.
