"Journey Of Challenge" Programme Attracts 740 Students From Across Governorates To Hone Skills

Al Jabal Al Akhdar: As the summer break approaches, pupils are excited to spend their free time in significant educational and recreational activities that will help them improve their talents and abilities.

Educational institutions are committed to offering engaging and safe programmes that blend study with fun. They provide a range of activities, including art workshops, educational camps, sports, self-development programs, and recreational trips. These programs seek to promote excellent values such as collaboration, discipline, and innovation, as well as help children develop their skills and encourage them to realize their potential in an environment of excitement and positive energy, learn new skills, and foster friendships among participants.

In this context, the Ministry of Education, through the Career Guidance and Student Counselling Centre, in partnership with Challenge Oman, is offering a summer program for students. The program, known as Journey of Challenge, attempts to empower and improve students' abilities while also preparing them for future problems by providing a stimulating, interactive environment that combines study with real-world experience. The program started in July and will run through August 21.

The program has 37 professional training courses attended by 740 men and women from several governorates throughout the Sultanate of Oman. The courses cover a wide range of subjects with the goal of developing students' character and improving their abilities in various areas of life. The sessions are being held in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, as well as at the Ashour Camp in the Dhofar Governorate.

The program intends to encourage self-discovery, boost self-esteem, and create new contacts among pupils from various governorates. It also includes field trips to Outward Bound Oman's Al Jabal Al Akhdar facility, which has two educational classrooms, a theater, and outdoor learning units to give a one-of-a-kind learning and training experience.
