Oman To Be Affected By Weather Condition In Coming Days

Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Department has issued a forecast indicating rainfall across the Sultanate of Oman, spanning three consecutive days from September 29, 2024, to October 1, 2024.

In a formal announcement, the Oman Meteorology Department stated, "Recent weather maps and numerical forecasts suggest the potential for cloud formation and subsequent rainfall over the coastal and mountainous regions of Dhofar Governorate, as well as the Al Hajar Mountains. This period is anticipated to see varying intensities of rainfall, accompanied by the presence of cumulus clouds and rainfall over the Al Hajar Mountains, which could result in the movement of valleys."

Furthermore, the statement mentioned that the experts at the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards are diligently monitoring the expected weather conditions and their progression.

The center implores the citizens and residents of Oman to adhere to the issued bulletins and reports for their safety and well-being.
