HM, UAE President Discuss Cooperation, Regional Stability

Salalah: This morning, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman for a private fraternal visit.

Upon his arrival at Salalah Royal Airport, His Majesty extended a warm welcome to the UAE President. Joining His Majesty at the reception were Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said, Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, the Governor of Dhofar, along with several ministers and senior officials.

The reception also featured Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, the Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, the Minister of Finance, Dr Hamad bin Said al Aufi, the Head of the Private Office, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, the President of Oman Investment Authority, Dr Sayyid Ahmad bin Hilal al Busaidi, the Ambassador of Oman to the UAE, and Shaikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid al Maktoum, the Ambassador of the UAE to Oman.

After passing through two lines of the Honour Guard of the Royal Guard of Oman, the motorcade carrying His Majesty the Sultan and his guest made its way to Al Husn Palace.

Subsequently, His Majesty and Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan convened for a fraternal meeting at Al Husn Palace in Salalah.

They also explored methods to strengthen collaboration and partnership between the two nations in a way that fosters economic growth and meets the aspirations of both the Omani and Emirati populations.

The conversations additionally addressed initiatives focused on attaining peace and stability in the region, fulfilling the hopes of the people for secure and dignified lives.
