Oman Secures Top Spot In International Quran Contest

Abdullah Said al Hakmani, the Omani participant, has emerged as the winner of the 30th International Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran, held in Egypt. His exceptional performance showcased his comprehensive expertise in the Holy Quran, encompassing memorization, recitation, interpretation, and comprehension of its fundamental objectives.

The competition witnessed the participation of more than 100 contestants from 64 countries, with a panel of judges representing nine nations, including Oman. The event encompassed six distinct sections, thoroughly evaluating the participants' skills.

To ensure the contestants' readiness for the competition, a pre-program was organized to provide them with the necessary qualifications.

Simultaneously, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs actively participated in this competition, demonstrating its commitment to promoting the Holy Quran and encouraging individuals to memorize and comprehend its profound meanings and implications.
