Ninth Edition Of Falling Walls Lab Competition’ Concludes

Muscat: In collaboration with the organizers of the 'Falling Walls Foundation' and under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, a ceremony was convened on Tuesday to celebrate the culmination of the 9th national edition of the contest.

The event took place at the Innovation Complex within the Muscat Governorate, presided over by Dr. Saif Abdullah Al Haddabi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, with a focus on Scientific Research and Innovation.

The inaugural award of the competition was presented to Tasneem Mohammed Al Dawoodi, who was honored with the trophy alongside Duha Jamal Al Barwani.

Their project, which aimed to reduce the reliance on heavy oil by employing green energy solutions, was recognized as the first place winner.

Al Waleed Yousef Al Muharbi secured the second position for his project on the phenomenon of wax deposition within pipelines.

Samia Nasser Al Riyami was awarded the third place for her innovative project on the development of a sustainable water filtration system.
