The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) has issued a cautionary statement regarding the use of a specific electric mixer brand.
According to the statement, this particular brand, BlendJet 2, poses a safety risk to consumers due to manufacturing defects and non-compliance with the Gulf technical regulations for low-voltage electrical devices in the Sultanate of Oman.
In collaboration with the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), the ministry's Directorate General of Standards and Metrology has taken necessary actions to assess the hazards associated with the BlendJet 2 electric blender, which includes the removal of the product from the market.
