Muscat: The recent visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has brought about positive developments for the people of Musandam Governorate across various sectors. The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) has confirmed that the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to establish an industrial city in Seih Al Wasat in the Wilayat of Madha, a prefabricated building in Mahas Industrial City in the Wilayat of Khasab, and another in the Wilayat of Madha, will have a significant impact on empowering the industrial sector in Musandam Governorate.
Maryam bint Ali Al Shehhi, expressing her thoughts on the auspicious visit of His Majesty the Sultan, stated, "The visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Musandam will undoubtedly have a positive influence on the governorate, fostering better communication between the government and the local community."
Al Shehhi further emphasized that the announcement of new projects will create invaluable opportunities for women in Musandam Governorate, enabling them to excel in economic, social, and cultural domains, thereby contributing to the realization of the goals outlined in the "Oman Vision 2040."
Aisha bint Ahmed Al-Harfi, the head of the Craft Industries Department in Musandam Governorate, highlighted the governorate's focus on women's development, providing support and empowerment in various aspects, including financial and administrative support. These initiatives aim to benefit women by enhancing their skills, promoting their products, and facilitating their entry into foreign markets. Additionally, the utilization of artificial intelligence will play a pivotal role in the advancement of Omani women across different sectors, encouraging entrepreneurship and fostering sustainable economies.
Dr. Khadija bint Sulaiman Al Shehhi, an employee at the Ministry of Information, further affirms that the women residing in the Musandam Governorate do not perceive any sense of marginalization due to the geographical distance. Through their unwavering determination and resilience, they have successfully carved their path and feel empowered.
