Muscat: Today, at Al Alam Palace, an audience was granted by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, who is a Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Sharjah.
At the beginning of their meeting, His Majesty extended a warm welcome to his guest, highlighting the strong bonds that exist between the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE.
They discussed various aspects of collaboration, especially within cultural, scientific, and historical domains. His Majesty emphasized the significance of enhancing these partnerships to benefit mutual interests.
In response, Sheikh Sultan conveyed his sincere gratitude for the gracious reception and hospitality he received, expressing his happiness regarding the visit.
Present at the audience were Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, and Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office. From the UAE delegation, attendees included Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority; Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman; and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah.
