Doha: Today in Doha, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, received Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, the Minister of Interior, along with other ministers and officials who attended the graduation ceremony of the 6th batch of student candidates at Qatar Police Academy.
During their meeting, Sayyid Hamoud conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Emir of Qatar, as well as His Majesty the Sultan's wishes for good health and happiness. He also conveyed His Majesty the Sultan's wishes for further progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
In response, Sheikh Tamim requested the Minister of Interior to convey his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him good health and happiness, and expressing his hopes for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.
The meeting also focused on the warm relations between the two countries, bilateral ties, and ways to strengthen them.
