Higher Education Ministry Inks Agreement With Royal College Of Surgeons Of Ireland - University Of Bahrain.

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation inked a cooperation agreement in the area of higher education and scholarships with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Bahrain Royal Medical University in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, and Professor Sameer Al Atoum, President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Bahrain Royal Medical University.

The deal was signed because to the Ministry's outstanding ties with the institution, as well as both parties' intention to expand and strengthen collaboration in higher education.

According to the agreement, the ministry will send a number of students to study in the Medical Commencement Programme (MCP) or the Bachelor of Medicine programme. At the start of each academic year, the ministry will give the institution a list of students chosen for study.

The deal commits the university to grant 10 scholarship positions each year to ministry-sponsored students, provided that the appropriate number of competent candidates are accessible. The institution will pay tuition for two of these places. Students will be admitted to the programme based on their competitive GPA and compliance with all regular admission requirements outlined in the college's admission and registration rules, making them eligible for their applications to be reviewed.
