Be’ah Conducts Awareness Visits To Schools In South Al Sharqiyah

Sur: The Oman Environmental Services Holding Company's Community Awareness and Engagement Team "be'ah" made a series of awareness trips to six schools in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, reaching out to over 5,219 students and educational staff.

This effort corresponds with the company's objective of raising environmental knowledge and encouraging sustainable practices among younger people. The trips featured engaging educational sessions that taught participants about sustainable consumption, smart shopping, and effective trash management practices.

The team hoped to provide simple and engaging content that was appropriate for the students' age groups, promoting a culture of environmental stewardship from an early age.

Furthermore, the visits emphasized the company's attempts to manage engineered landfills in accordance with the highest environmental standards, as well as the operational features of trash transfer sites.

The staff also gave an overview of the services provided by the be'ah call center, which serves as a critical platform for receiving queries and feedback from the public.

This action is part of be'ah's ongoing community awareness projects in many governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, demonstrating the company's leadership in promoting collaboration with educational institutions and developing an environmentally sensitive generation dedicated to sustainability.
