Sohar: The 4th Health Leaders Forum, organized by the Ministry of Health, commenced on Wednesday with the theme of "Sustainability".
The primary objective of this two-day forum is to monitor the progress and advancements in the healthcare system of the Sultanate of Oman, while also addressing the challenges it faces and finding effective solutions.
In his speech at the forum, Health Minister Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti emphasized the significance of fostering diverse forms of cooperation and integrating healthcare services.
He stressed the importance of thoroughly studying health-related issues, considering various perspectives, and proposing strategies to overcome the obstacles encountered by the healthcare sector and enhance its operations.
Dr. Hilal stated, "The Ministry of Health is currently developing a comprehensive database to monitor challenges that necessitate intervention from central authorities and other sectors."
Throughout the forum, there were visual presentations showcasing the best practices of primary healthcare institutions, opportunities for healthcare integration among different regions, and success stories.
Furthermore, the forum extensively discussed the Ministry's strategic programs aimed at achieving the objectives outlined in Oman Vision 2040. This included a comprehensive review of various projects implemented by the Ministry.
