Perfume Factory Inaugurated In Raysut Industrial City

Salalah: On Wednesday, the AlKhanjar Perfumes and Incense Factory opened in Raysut Industrial City in the Dhofar Governorate, with an investment of more than OMR3 million.

The launching ceremony was presided over by HH Sayyid Marwan Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, in the presence of Dr. Saleh Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, as well as a number of authorities, stakeholders, and business leaders.

Mohammed Said Jaddad, CEO of AlKhanjar Perfumes and Incense Factory, said that the facility was built on 6,000 square metres and features the newest industrial technology and equipment. It offers a modern manufacturing infrastructure with four high-capacity production lines.

In a statement to the Oman News Agency (ONA), he stated that the facility has a liquid perfume production line with a daily output of 15,000 bottles, an incense production line with a daily capacity of 6,000 packages, a dedicated line for traditional aromatic products with a daily capacity of 5,000 packages, and a concentrated fragrance chemicals production line with a daily capacity of 10,000 bottles. This will successfully satisfy local and Gulf market demands while maintaining high competitiveness and quality.

The event included a visual presentation emphasizing the factory's Omani character and creation stages, followed by a field trip of the manufacturing lines. Attendees saw the perfume and incense production processes and interacted with the factory personnel.

The construction of the facility aims to enhance the popularity of Omani products in local and regional marketplaces by producing a wide variety of high-quality perfumes and incense. This aids in supporting the national economy and meeting economic diversification objectives.

The project is a quality addition to Dhofar Governorate's industrial investment ecosystem, as well as one of the programs aimed at creating employment for residents while revitalizing the industrial sector as part of the national plan for long-term economic development.
