Dhofar: The SMEs Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will host the Tamkeen and Sumou (Empowerment and Elevation) exhibition on August 5 in Dhofar Governorate.
More than 60 SMEs from a variety of industries will participate in the expo.
The exhibition features industries such as tourism, retail, food, and handicrafts. This is consistent with the Chamber's goals of promoting economic diversification and enabling small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to grow and expand. The exhibition aims to promote these businesses' goods, increase their competitiveness in local markets, and offer opportunities for forming commercial partnerships with private sector groups.
The event will feature unique sections, like as the Entrepreneurs' Corner, Innovation Corner, Handicraft and Manual Workshops Corner, and the Young Entrepreneur Corner, which will highlight youngsters' abilities and goods.
The exhibit will also host the Sohar International Competition, which aims to improve display quality, emphasize product identity, and inspire entrepreneurs to excellence and innovation.
The event is a strong platform for promoting entrepreneurship in Oman, as well as fostering innovation and economic diversification across the governorates. This is consistent with the Chamber's commitment to encouraging the commercial sector and empowering Omani entrepreneurs.
