Kathmandu: Today, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, engaged in a meeting with Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, at the capital city of Kathmandu.
During the discourse, the participants reviewed the bilateral relations between the two nations and identified avenues for exploring new opportunities for cooperation across various sectors of mutual interest. They also emphasized the potential for enhancing economic and trade relations, with a focus on sectors such as tourism, mining, agriculture, and cultural exchange. It was reiterated that the exchange of knowledge and support for collaborative investments are crucial.
Moreover, the discussion highlighted the significance of maintaining strong bilateral cooperation to address shared challenges and foster peace and stability both within the region and globally.
The meeting was graced by the presence of Issa Saleh Al Shaibani, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, and his non-resident counterpart to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Additionally, several officials from both nations were in attendance.
