The UN envoy to Yemen has expressed the United Nations' appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman's role and support in achieving lasting peace and stability in Yemen, as well as establishing strong peaceful relations with its neighbors. This acknowledgment was made during a meeting held by Oman's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.

During the meeting, the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, met with Ambassador Dr. Muhammad bin Awad Al Hassan, the Permanent Representative of Oman to the United Nations. The purpose of the meeting was to submit a periodic report on the developments in Yemen to the United Nations.

At the headquarters of Oman's permanent delegation to the United Nations, the UN envoy reiterated the United Nations' gratitude for Oman's support in achieving peace and stability in Yemen. He emphasized the importance of Oman's efforts to the international community, particularly in promoting unity and stability in Yemen and fostering peaceful relations with its neighbors.
