Tourism Ministry Signs Agreement To Develop Majlis Al Jinn Cave

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in Muscat recently finalized a usufruct agreement with Omran Group to enhance the Majlis Al Jinn Cave in Quriyat, Muscat.

This agreement will lead to the development of a tourism and environmental project aimed at utilizing the cave's features, providing safety equipment for adventurers, and establishing necessary service facilities.

The contract was signed by Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and Dr. Hashel Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of Omran Group.

Omran Group will be responsible for the operational aspects of the project, including the training and employment of staff. They will also focus on preserving the wildlife within the cave and its surroundings, collaborating with experts to create a sustainable long-term plan for the site.

Majlis Al Jinn Cave covers an area of 58,000 square meters, with a capacity of 4 million cubic meters, a length of 310 meters, and a width of 225 meters.
