SalamAir and Oman Air have recently introduced direct flights to these cities, providing convenient travel options and distinctive experiences.

SalamAir commenced its inaugural flight to Nairobi on Monday, enhancing Oman’s link with East Africa.

The launch of the flight to Kenya’s capital was celebrated with a grand reception at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, attended by prominent officials from both countries.

Adrian Hamilton-Manns, CEO of SalamAir, underscored the importance of this new route, noting its potential to strengthen economic and cultural connections between Oman and Kenya.

In addition, Oman Air has unveiled a new route connecting Muscat to Rome, representing a significant growth opportunity for the national airline.

With four flights each week, this service provides an excellent opportunity for travelers eager to discover Italy’s historic capital, while also acting as an essential connection for passengers heading to the Far East, GCC, and the Indian subcontinent.

Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, characterized the Rome-Muscat route as a strategic initiative aimed at improving connectivity to Europe and maximizing fleet efficiency.
