Muscat: The Tender Board has recently approved several tenders and additional projects for the implementation of development initiatives valued at OMR87.73 million.
These business tasks were granted during the second meeting of the year by the Tender Board, which is chaired by Said Mohammed Al Saqri, the Minister of Economy.
Among the significant projects that received approval were the design and construction of 12 school buildings in different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman (OMR20,950,094), the appointment of a law firm to represent the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology through a framework contract (OMR9,750,000), the construction of Al Mughsayl Road and Bridge in Dhofar Governorate (OMR9,110,540), the complementary works for the Dhofar Municipality Building (OMR7,030,445), and the construction and maintenance of housing units in the Wilayat of Shaleem W’al-Halaniyat Islands in Dhofar Governorate (OMR4,451,633).
Additionally, the approved projects encompassed consultancy services and designs for an integrated sports city project (OMR4,231,925) and the supply of heart surgery equipment for Ministry of Health facilities (OMR4,226,987).
