Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, expressed the Sultanate of Oman's commitment to actively engage in the deliberations and activities of the Arab Parliament through its diverse committees.
This affirmation was made during Al Khalili's meeting with Adel AbdulRahman Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, and his accompanying delegation on Sunday.
The Chairman of the State Council praised the significant roles played by the Arab Parliament in advancing joint Arab initiatives and its valuable contributions to international parliamentary forums.
He extended his best wishes for the success of the Arab Parliament in its endeavors to achieve further accomplishments in strengthening Arab unity.
Al Khalili emphasized the existing cooperation between the Council of Oman and the Arab Parliament, which aims to enhance joint Arab efforts.
In response, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament acknowledged the support and active participation of the Sultanate of Oman in various parliamentary activities, as well as the valuable contribution of the State Council in improving the performance of the Arab Parliament.
